Villa Pambuffetti has been in the family for generations. It was once a luxurious family home but has been transformed into a beautiful hotel by its owners/managers Mauro and Alessandra. The beauty of Villa Pambuffetti is that it is situated in its own quiet private gardens, has a large pool and wonderful views over the surrounding countryside and also it's only a 3 minute walk from the hotel into the medieval walled town of Montefalco. Montefalco is well known for its wine "Montefalco Rosso". It has many lovely shops selling linens, items made from olive wood, lots of bars and restaurants and a wonderful museum. The museum houses the fantastic frescoes by Benozzo Gonzoli called "The Life Cycle of Saint Francis". There are other works by famous artists including Perugino. All double bedrooms have high standard en-suite facilities. Lunch and dinner will be served in the hotel each day. There is a bar and comfortable seating area as well as a large terrace.
