The hotel occupies the old house that was owned by the noble Pietro Brunamonti and the poet Alinda Bonacci. Some remains from the Roman period came to light during renovation works. These have been tastefully exposed and can be seen in the entrance hall of the hotel. All the rooms are very beautifully decorated and have high standard en-suite bathrooms. The breakfast room has frescoed walls reminding guests they are staying in a Palazzo. The hotel is situated in the centre of the stunning medieval town of Bevagna. Interesting shops, bars and restaurants line the main street. This unspoilt town is full of wonderful painting sites. There are several 12th century churches in the town and a recently discovered mosaic floor which was once a Roman bathing place. For such a small town Bevagna is blessed with some wonderful restaurants.
